About Me

Hey! Let me introduce myself. I'm PJ Keen.

I'm an Alabama-born kids pastor currently serving children and families in Brandon, MS. My wife and I met working CentriKid Camps for 3rd-6th graders and have a mutual love for families and the Church. I have been serving in children's ministry since 2013. We have a heart to help leaders & families invest in their children and help raise their own tiny disciples. Since having our sons in 2021 and 2023, our desire to encourage families in leaning into their calling of raising children to follow Christ has only grown.

I attended William Carey University and received a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministries with a minor in Psychology. In May of 2023, I graduated from from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with an M.Div in Christian Education and an emphasis in Children's Ministry Leadership.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing disc golf, watching Alabama football, cheering for the Atlanta Braves, reading a good book, and sharing a meal with old and new friends. My favorite time of the year for children's ministry is the summer. Between camp, VBS, and extended time with kids, there is always something extra fun happening during the summer.
